Try-A-Trade
Try-A-Trade is a three-day TAFE experience in which Year 10 students attend Central Regional TAFE to try a variety of trades. This is designed to assist them in making both career and course selection decisions for Year 11. TAFE will offer the program to our students once to twice a year.
Trades offered could be any three of either Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry or Bricklaying. The program is run over three days and is usually offered twice a year for 12 students at a time.
When the program has been planned students and parents will be notified by information in the Daily Notices, School Newsletter and Facebook Page. Students register by either collecting an application form from Careers or by clicking on this link to download a form. Students need to return their completed applications by the advertised closing dates, late applications will not be accepted.
