The Technologies Department at Nagle Catholic College run a variety of courses inspired by two distinct subject areas Design & Technology and Digital Technology. Fields of study include Computing, Design Technical Graphics, Engineering Studies, Food Science and Technology and Material Design Technology (Metalwork, Textiles and Woodwork). A number of innovative and dynamic courses are also delivered such as Jewellery Making and Robotics.
Students have the opportunity to study the Technologies courses from Year 7 through to Year 12. Courses are offered on the ATAR pathway in Year 11 & 12 enabling students to have their marks included in their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
Successful General and VET courses also exist giving students skills and opportunities to move into further training or the workforce.
